I just recently got my April 2019 essential rewards order from Young Living, and I wanted to share with you guys what all I got! If you don’t know what essential rewards is, it is a monthly wellness box that is completely customizable month to month. It is super awesome and a great way to stock up on all the products you love from Young Living. Not only that but each month you get free products, and you get points back to spend on products whenever you want (AKA more free products)! It’s pretty awesome, but the only way you can get on essential rewards is if you are a Young Living member. Curious about how to become a member? Follow my link to sign up! Have more questions about essential oils and natural living? Shot me a message on Instagram or email me and I will answer all of your questions!
So without further ado, let’s dive in!
So first up we have Blue Tansy. This was a splurge oil for me this month, but it was something that I have wanted to try since I signed up with Young Living almost a year ago. I have been hearing people rave about this oil and said, “I have to give this a try,” and this month I did. It is a major component in the blend Valor which is one of my all-time favorite oils. It has a vibrant blue color that will stain if you apply directly so be careful with it. (I learned this the hard way when I put a couple of drops on my arm and then I was blue LOL). The scent is super calming and relaxing. I am excited to start using it when I am super stressed out and anxious and need to just chill.
Next, we have the Deep Relief Roll-On. This is a pre-diluted roller bottle, and I have heard nothing but amazing things about this roller. This is the first time I have gotten it but am already obsessed with it. It is great to relieve neck and head tension naturally. I have this a lot and have found great benefit from using it this way.
Dragon Time essential oil is a blend of fennel, clary sage, marjoram, lavender, yarrow, and jasmine. It is not my favorite smell right off the bat, but I am sure it will grow on me. This oil is great for hormonal support for women, especially during that time of the month. I have yet to try it out but have heard wonderful things about it. I will report back once I have tried it for a couple of months and let y’all know how it works out.
En-R-Gee is the next blend that I got. It is a blend of rosemary (one of my favorites), juniper, lemongrass, nutmeg, Idaho balsam fir, clove, and black pepper. It has a very distinct smell that is uplifting and energizing. It does exactly what the name suggests help support a natural increase in energy and who doesn’t want that. I have friends who are new moms that swear by this oil for energy support throughout the day. I am super excited to try it!
Then we have the Lavender Mint Daily Shampoo. I got this because I was almost out of my other shampoo and wanted to switch to a natural shampoo. I have heard this cleanses the hair and feels nice on your scalp. The cool part about this product is that it is super concentrated so you can dilute it to make it last even longer. Just pour it into a separate container, add the same amount of water and bam you made your shampoo last twice as long. This shampoo will not lather in the same way that normal shampoos will as a warning but it is still doing the same job of getting your hair clean.
Next, we have the Lavender Volume Conditioner. My friend says this stuff gives her hair so much more life and volume, hence why I got it. Like the shampoo, I was running out of conditioner and wanted something natural. Again, this can be diluted with water to make it last longer. I like to get glass pump bottles off of Amazon to put my diluted product in. It makes it so much easier to get the shampoo and conditioner out, and they look prettier than the bottles the products come in.
M-Grain essential oil is a blend of basil, marjoram, lavender, roman chamomile, peppermint, and helichrysum. I have not tried this oil yet but have heard that it is really good for head support and tension. Again it has a distinct smell that I am not super fond of but am sure I will grow to love. I will report back once I have tried this product a couple of times and let you know what I think!
Orange Blossom Moisturizer I got for my fiancé. He has been looking for a good moisturizer, and I thought this would be a good one for him to try. It is super gentle but nice and moisturizing at the same time. It smells amazing and am excited to try it out as well.
Next, we have Ortho Sport Massage Oil. I have recently started to work out again and have been super achy and sore. Not only that but I am just achy and sore every day of my life because of my chronic illness. This is said to support muscle recovery and soothe sore muscles. It is essential oils mixed with a carrier oil that is ready to be applied directly to the skin. I plan on using this after I work out to support natural recovery.
Then we have the Mint Satin Facial Scrub, which people swear by. It went out of stock for a while, and people were freaking out because they thought it would not come back. It did so I knew I had to snag one to give it a try. It is super gentle so it can be used every night if you would like. It is still an exfoliator though so if you have sensitive skin like me you might not want to use it every night. I plan to use this twice a week to help remove dead skin and give my face a good clean.
Last of the products I purchased was the Sensation Massage Oil. This stuff smells so sexy. It is great to use when you are spending some quality time with your partner or if you want to smell amazing. It is super moisturizing and gentle so it can be used daily if you would like. Like with the ortho sport massage oil, it is pre-diluted with a carrier oil and is all ready to go on the skin.
Now for the fun part, all the stuff I got for FREE! Yes, you read that right, FREE. This list is pretty much as long as the list of products I purchased.
First, we have Cool Azul Pain Relief Cream Packets. I swear by this stuff. I misplaced my big bottle of it when we moved a coupled of weeks ago and have been so sad about it. I am so glad I got some free samples of it so that I can get back on my routine of using it. It has made a world of difference in my life since I started using it. I put some on every morning and every night to support my body feeling its best.
Then I got ten free essential rewards points. Remember when I mentioned earlier that you get points back on when you purchase using essential rewards? Well, sometimes they just give you extra points for free. How cool is that!
Then I got Vetiver essential oil. This stuff is great to support focus, so I like to diffuse it when I am studying or working on blog posts. It has a very earthy smell which I love and is a thicker oil so you will want to warm it up a little bit before you try to drop any out of the bottle.
Clary Sage is great for hormonal support and balance. There is a reason it is in Dragon Time essential oil blend. I have not tried it but am excited to give it a go.
Tangerine essential oil is a great mood-boosting essential oil. Any citrus oil is a great mood-boosting oil. I don’t have much else to say about it other than it makes me happy when it is being diffused.
Then I got Lemon essential oil. This stuff is a natural goo gone and is an oil I never run out of. It is great for seasonal support and again is a mood-boosting essential oil.
I am super excited about the Lavender Calming Bath Bombs. I have not tried any of Young Livings bath bombs, but I have wanted to. I don’t have a bath at my house but my mom has one and lives super close, so I might go over there and give them a try. I much prefer baths to showers, so I am super excited to try them.
Dream Catcher essential oil is a blend of royal Hawaiian sandalwood, tangerine, ylang-ylang, black pepper, bergamot, anise, juniper, geranium, blue cypress, davana, citrus hystrix, jasmine, german chamomile, blue tansy, rose, grapefruit, and spearmint. It smells so dreamy that I would wear it just as a perfume but it also super great for sleep support which is what I will mainly use it for.
Last but certainly not least, Goldenrod essential oil. This is a limited oil for Young Living meaning that they only have it during certain seasons. I am not sure exactly what this oil is good for, but I will do some research and let y’all know.
Have you tried any of these products yet? Let me know what you think of them! I am super excited to give everything a try and let y’all know what I think about them!
